How to Increase Blog Revenue With Google Adsense

We've all heard of those people who are making 'big money' with Google Adsense, but it is not quite as simple as creating a site and slapping on some Google Ads and waiting for the money to roll in. Here are some tips to increasing Blog revenue with Adsense.

Pick a topic to blog about. The process of making money will start way before you make your fist penny, it needs to start with a clear strategy. A website/blog will only be popular if a) it's a topic people are interested in b) it is written well c) you are knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. There is money in scrap metal, but if you know nothing about it, leave it alone!

Research the market. Are there 100 other blogs out there doing the same thing? If so are they making money? And if you are thinking of implementing advertising (like Google Adsense) are people buying keywords in your field? Ask yourself, am I unique? If the answer is yes, ask yourself why no one else is doing it! If no, ask how you can do it better than the competition, or at least equally as well.

Set up a blog. There are plenty of sites - WordPress, blogger are good for beginners, or you could even create your very own with unique domain name; 123-reg.co.uk and moonfruit.co.uk are easy-to-use site builders and domain registration sites.

If starting from scratch, pick a good domain name. For example if you are a car expert called Mike Brown, calling your blog 'www.carexpertblog...' rather than 'www.mikebrownscarblog...' will increase likelihood of your blog being found in search engines for relevant organic terms. Use this knowledge too when choosing page titles.

Traffic driving. This article may seem to be missing the point so far, however, believe me these stages are most important if you are ever going to make money with Adsense (or any other ad stream). Traffic is key! Adsense works on click through, if you have 100 people visit your site and have one of those click on your Adsense ad, have 1000 visitors and it figures you may get 10 clicks...

Make money from your site. Once you have traffic you can start to make money, that is if you have followed stages 1,2 and 3, and you know there is money in your market. As this article is about INCREASING your blog money with Adsense, it refers to the fact there are other ways to make money with a blog. You may want to consider offering advertisers links, banners, advertorials, recommendations, access to your readership database through newsletters, or social media benefits. Advertisers are more and more looking to connect with niche markets and across social platforms, so make yourself a respected voice in your niche so advertisers cannot resist connecting through your site.

Adsense. Now down to the nitty-gritty, you need to implement Google Adsense by setting up an account (Google 'Adsense') and set up an account if you don't have one already and the simple stages will allow you to create ads in your chosen shape, size, colours... Please see Tips later on!

Making the most of adsense. You need to have it near the top of the page, many find leaderboads, or right-hand sidebar ads work best. You need to make sure you have the right settings within your account so the adwords are relevant, I have had some clangers in the past, 'Thai Brides' available on one of my relationship counselling web pages!! So monitor your adverts and their relevance.

Traffic, Traffic, Traffic. I will just finish off by saying this again; you need to get the traffic to make money with Adsense. Make sure your SEO targets take into account the relevant keywords you want to be selling.

Best Places to Share Blog Content For Traffic

Bloggers fails to get and attract traffic towards their blog content because they lack with the sources where to share their posts. This lack of knowledge returns in dead blog posts without any comments and social shares.
You must take care about the places and sources to share your best articles just after hitting the publish button. Below I’m listing the best places where you should share your articles to get referral traffic and quality back links.

Get your blog quality articles noticed on below places:

1# Facebook Groups:

You may definitely using facebook groups to promote your content. What I have noticed is that bloggers join too many facebook groups in sake to get more referral traffic. But it’s not true. If you join limited and quality groups, then you’ll get more productive results.
  1. Join limited number of groups.
  2. Target Niche related groups with maximum number of members.
  3. Look for the active groups, joining such groups where members don’t take interest to view your posts is really a waste of time.
  4. Limited number of group are easy to manage, you can easily be active there. First like and comment on other’s submission and then share your own links. Believe me you will get best of the best exposure towards your each posts.

2# LinkedIn Groups:

Same as facebook, LinkedIn also allow it’s users to create and join groups. It’ll be tough to share your content all the time on each places, but do share your best posts in LinkedIn groups.
Points to be notice here:
  1. LinkedIn is full of professionals. If you share outdated or non valuable content there, then sorry to say, LinkedIn groups are not for you.
  2. Being a group member, you must care about your activeness in the group. Don’t be hungry only to share your articles. Give value to other’s content and help them to get shared their submitted posts. Try to make a bond with them. You’ll be notice as a valuable group member and other members will love to read and share your content with their social friends.
  3. Bonus Tip: Add members from UK, US in your group if you wanna attract traffic from these countries.

3# Google Plus Communities

Almost we all have our G+ profile and Google plus page of our blog. Right?
But sharing with circle friends and page followers is not the best use of Google Plus for blog posts promotion. As facebook and linkedIn groups, there are many communities on Google Plus. Make use of those communities in following way:
  1. Join Google Plus communities where there is your targeted audience.
  2. Start hitting +1 button on their posts, comment on them and appreciate their content.
  3. Keep patience to share your own posts, first make a friendly relationship with other members.
  4. Once you do follow these three steps, soon your name will be notice by other members. And this should be your goal. Grab their attention and prove that you are not there only to spam community with your own links.
  5. Once you feel that you have made a solid presence in those communities, it’s time to share your posts links.
  6. Share your article’s links, add attractive description and use #HashTags.
    • Get dofollow backlinks
    • +1’s to your posts
    • Targeted readers
    • Comments on posts
    • And many other benefits.

4# Blog Communities

Blog communities are the best places of active and targeted audience. As same as above places, you have to be active in blog communities too to get impressive results.
Below I’m listing few best communities and places for bloggers that are truly worth using for blog posts sharing.
  1. Pakistani Blogger
  2. Bizsugar
  3. Blokube
  4. BlogEngage
  5. Triberr
  6. Inbound.org
Note: Try to make use all of them effectively. If you are already using them and have any related doubt, query or suggestion, then feel free to leave a comment. I’ll surely response to your comments.
You must take care about your activities you do there in terms to get your posts vital. For best of the best results, perform below steps:
  1. Register for an account.
  2. Log in to your account and fill all of your profile information.
  3. When you are ready with the basic things, it’s time to submit links. But wait, some communities set moderation on the submitted links. To get easy approval you have to be smart there. For first time submission, do submit a post of any big blog. It’ll help you to get instant approval on your submitted links. Once your submissions start getting approval, do submit your own links.
  4. Vote for other’s post, build relationship and get votes to your own posts.
  5. Maximum votes will bring your posts to the homepage of these communities, means your posts will be shown to a wider audience. Hence more free and targeted traffic to your blog.
These are the 4 major places where I always do sharing of my blog posts. Even you can use social bookmarking, blog commenting, Just re tweet and many other popular ways too to promote your content.

At last I just wanna say that try your own ideas to promote your blog but never ignore the working ideas tested and shared by PRO-Bloggers to be a successful blogger

Your Blog Posts Automaticaly Promoting While Sleeping

What should be your next goal with that post? Of course, promoting and sharing it with every possible way. Sharing on social media sites and blog communities are the best possible ways to attract wider audiences to blog content. Sharing on facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social networking sites can bring us immense traffic to our blog if we know what and when to be share.
Yes, I really mean it. Sharing posts on these social networking websites is worthless if you fail to target your potential readers. You must be aware with the timings when you get maximum clicks from your shared posts.
Suppose your readers or social media fans and followers used to check out your shared posts at night and you are sharing with them in morning or in noon. Then obliviously, you are not going to attract as much readers as compare to sharing posts at night. Agree?
It doesn’t mean that you should not share your posts at day time or at time when your most of the fans are not online, but targeting them at that time when they uses internet is the best and smart practice to gain more traffic from social networking sites.
But there is an issue. No one can sit online all the day only to promote blog posts. Some people used to share posts at mid day and some prefer to share at night. But what if you could get opportunity to promote your blog posts at that time when you can’t sit in front of your computer connecting with internet? It’ll be great for all of us. Right? Types of Web Hosting for Every Blogger

Here are rundown of hosting services, and reasons why you should be choosing any of them.
Web Hosting Services
Choose Web Hosting For Your Business

Shared Hosting

This is typically the most affordable option and most popular too. Guess price tag and popularity go hand in hand. Shared hosting will put your website on same server with a lot of other websites. Don’t worry. The servers are powerful enough to handle a few hundred websites on it. Hopefully. If your web hosting company is a good one, of course. Shady ones will use low-grade hardware and try to squeeze out every juice out of it. Stay away from them.
This is where you start if you are just starting out. Sure it won’t be ideal if your blog is getting loads of traffic but for most starting blogs, it will suffice. There are a lot of affordable but good hosting services out there. What you should prioritize here is in good customer support, uptime guarantee and money back guarantee. Not on imaginary “unlimited” bandwidth and storage space. Minimum 500MB storage and around 10GB bandwidth will be plenty for any kind of starting blogs. You can easily search good ones using hosting services comparison tool on BestHosting.org. You can easily get one in the range of $4 ~ $8 a month range.

Cloud Hosting

Now we hear this term a lot in recent years. But it is not some magical new platform. It is just a new way of structuring infrastructure and using virtualization and other technologies to deliver hosting service that is so much more redundant and has better uptime. Now you see, if you didn’t understand what was just said, chances are, you don’t need cloud hosting yet. Plus, most companies offering “cloud hosting” are actually offering glorified shared hosting anyway. Some of them are legit though, since they use same technologies to build cloud platforms to deliver shared hosting services to you. But the term cloud hosting is so loosely used all over that it can cover from shared hosting type to VPS type.
This is for you if you want more redundancy, better uptime, better load balancing and perhaps access to resources like hosting your blog on one web server, store your blog’s data on separate database servers, and so on. This is higher end level of cloud hosting. If you really want shared hosting level of cloud hosting, you might want to look into MediaTemple and Site5.

Virtual Private Server Hosting

Virtual Private Server (VPS) gives you a lot more control than shared hosting. Basically, virtualization technologies are used to create virtual servers on a powerful physical server hardware, and you get complete access to one (or more, if you are paying) VPS. Complete control, it’s all yours. With such control comes responsibility. You are fully responsible to manage your server, including security updates, deploying whatever server software on it and everything that has to do with managing a server. You could buy managed VPS solutions though, which comes with a sysadmin that will manage your VPS. At a price tag, of course, you can do a lot of things with a VPS. The same things you could do with a dedicated server to yourself, but at much lesser cost.
If your blog is getting a lot of traffic and shared hosting services aren’t cutting it anymore, this is your option. You will have access to powerful system resources (gigabytes of RAM, dedicated processing power and all that), a lot more dedicated bandwidth and storage, and no other websites gnawing at your precious system resources. It is also a lot easier on your wallet too.

Dedicated Servers

The ultimate of hosting solutions. You will get the whole physical server hardware to all yourself. No hundreds of other websites or even a few VPS sharing the resources of one hardware. You get everything to yourself. Just like VPS, it also comes with huge responsibility for you. You can either manage it yourself, hire someone or get managed dedicated server hosting from companies that provide such service. The pricing varies depending on if you are getting managed or unmanaged, and what kind of hardware you are looking for. Entry level servers are pretty affordable and you can even get them under $100. But then, you can get similar kind of system resources on a VPS for around $50 or so. If you are going dedicated, then your need better call for good hardware. And when you use good hardware, you won’t regret your decision. You can either rent the existing setups from hosting companies or with some, you can even customize the hardware to your heart’s content.
Your blog is going to be really big (think Problogger and Copyblogger level) and famous if you are looking into dedicated servers. They can handle a lot of traffic and a lot of loading stress. Comes with a proper price tag too. But if you are not experienced in managing a server, we suggest getting a managed solution since your inexperience might lead to bad security practices which in turn lead to being hacked.
Now we know that you just read a bucket load of information. So rule of the thumb is, start with a good shared hosting if you are just starting out or your blog isn’t that big yet. Always pick a company with diverse range of services (from shared hosting to VPS and dedicated), good reputation and customer service. This way, your upgrade path is a lot easier. After choosing a good hosting service, you are all set.

Office Recycling Machine Magically Turns Papers into Pencils

Believe it or not, some offices still use pencils and paper to communicate. Those that do often find that they have an abundance of waste paper and a lack of usable pencils. This brilliant solution takes care of both problems at once by using waste paper to create brand spanking new pencils. It’s called the P&P Office Waste Paper Processor, and it’s designed to provide low-cost writing implements from office waste.
The machine uses a relatively simple procedure to recycle your old papers into writing instruments. You fill up its compartments with pencil leads and glue, then feed a piece of paper in and the paper is wound tightly around the lead while glue is dispensed to hold it all together. Shortly after you put the paper in, a new pencil pops out.
The pencil chute also works as a pencil sharpener, presumably after making an adjustment somewhere to activate that function. The pencils produced by this unusual machine are all unique; the design depends on what was on the paper that’s fed into the gadget.
It’s doubtful that making pencils from old paper would actually save any money or energy over, say, recycling paper the standard way and just buying new pencils for pennies each. But for classrooms and offices that use both pencils and paper like crazy, having a handy way to take care of both problems simultaneously could be a welcome change. The P&P is just a concept for now, but given the fact that recycled paper pencils are already being sold extensively it seems like only a matter of time before this machine becomes a reality.

The World of Tomorrow: Smart House Prototype

connected smart home

Visions of futuristic homes have been swirling in our collective minds since the dawn of the industrial revolution, and technology has finally caught up to our fanciful notions .Openarch is a working prototype of a super high-tech smart home with a functional digital layer.

weather app
Openarch functions on a platform the designers call Domestic Operating System, or D. OS. The system includes utilities that allow residents to control the home’s functions with simple gestures, easily keep track of the weather or the home’s energy consumption, and stay connected to friends and family.
wallpaper mode
The super-smart home has surprising features like apps that allow you to change the look of an entire room. Your living room can go from boring to the center of Times Square in an instant.
tetris game app
The walls and floors of each room can become huge gaming surfaces, letting you play Tetris while you wait for your toast or enjoying a first-person shooter game in an immersive environment.
alarm clock and skype
Just like the very first smart house ideas predicted, Openarch enables residents to use their home itself to complete daily tasks. An alarm clock app wakes you up without the need for an actual alarm clock, and the walls become massive touchscreens that let you carry out all of your online business wherever you are in the house.
nfc and rfid controls
The home is plenty capable on its own, but the things inside of it are just as impressive. Music collections can be accessed with a few quick taps, coffee pots turned off or on with a gesture, and household data can be monitored or controlled simply by moving a cell phone closer or further away.
openarch smart house
Is the house of the future one that will make life easier, or will it only serve to stress us out? How will we handle being constantly connected and surrounded by data every second of our lives? We predict that some will embrace the technology wholeheartedly while others will rebel against the technological revolution and happily remain in their non-connected homes.
